People seek counseling with the desire and hope that they can be successful in modifying and overcoming their challenges. They want to feel happy and have the relationships and lifestyle that they dream of.
People who come to see me are experiencing one or more of the following:
try new things, leave unhealthy relationships, change jobs, do what they really want to do, assert themselves, etc. 
My work with clients is based on a holistic view of their life. This includes talking about exercise, diet, use of drugs/alcohol, self-care, spirituality and lifestyle.
I assist my clients by helping them to outline their goals and to strategize about how to meet them quickly and efficiently. I do this by asking thought provoking questions, by offering a variety of perspectives and suggestions, by listening with empathy, acceptance and compassion and by utilizing different types of interventions such as psychodrama, emotional freedom techniqueâ„¢, guided imagery and meditation.
This process often results in fear being transformed into courage, the ability to take action despite feeling afraid. Goals are accomplished and a sense of well-being and contentment is established.
